1st Woodbridge was formed back in 1909 and in 2019 celebrated its 110th anniversary!
We are one of the oldest Scout Groups in Suffolk, having started just two years after Scouting first begun!
We are currently based on Rock Barracks which is part of MoD Woodbridge.
The group had to relocate during 2021 due to issues with the site upon which the Scout hut still stands.
The MoD have been very good to the group offering us a place to meet three times a week and we have also been able to bring Scouting to the people of Sutton Heath.
With our relocation we’ve had to make better use of the outdoors at our weekly meetings and it has been well received by our current members.
